For most of my life, pain was a constant companion. I didn’t grow up with it, and I didn’t step into this field by accident — I walked this path myself. Over more than 20 years of living with chronic pain and navigating osteoarthritis, I became all too familiar with the frustration of seeking answers that never came. If you’ve ever been told, “this is just something you’ll have to live with,” “your tests look fine,” or “you’re too young to have this,” I see you. I’ve been there. Feeling unheard, exhausted, and emotionally drained can be just as painful as the symptoms themselves.
Chronic pain doesn’t only affect the body. It impacts your mental health, your energy, your confidence, and your sense of hope. Over the years, my own journey included anxiety, bouts of depression, chronic fatigue, and complete burnout trying to just push through.
That journey is what led me here and why “Hidden Brook Healing” is in the works.
I will support individuals who are tired of being dismissed and who are ready for a more compassionate, whole-body approach to pain management, especially those living with osteoarthritis and long term discomfort. My focus isn’t just pain relief, its helping you feel supported, understood, and empowered in your healing process.

Along the way, I’ve learned that small, intentional actions make a big difference:
- Listen to your body: When you feel tired or notice flare-ups, give yourself permission to rest. Recovery is part of progress.
- Gentle movement matters: Walking, stretching, or gentle movements help keep joints mobile and supports circulation without overtaxing your body.
- Food and diet awareness: Pay attention to how different foods affect your pain, energy, and digestion. Simple adjustments like balancing anti-inflammatory foods, staying hydrated, and noticing triggers can make a meaningful difference.
- Be kind to yourself: Chronic pain can make you feel frustrated or impatient. Remind yourself that healing is a journey, and self-compassion is essential.
- Winter-specific tips: Cold weather can intensify joint stiffness and discomfort. Keep warm, layer clothing, move gently to stay limber, and use heat therapy like warm baths or compresses to ease tension. Staying active indoors and maintaining a consistent sleep routine also helps.
